Lisa Moe teaches 6th Grade in Corona-Norco Unified School District and is known on Social Media as @MissMoeTeaches. She was named the 2020 Edwin Carr recipient in Educational Technology through California State University, Fullerton and the 2021 IACUE Blended and Online Educator of the Year. In 2022, she was featured as a Female STEM Leader on CBS Mission: Unstoppable. She currently serves on the IACUE Board and is a 2023-2024 CSTA Equity Fellow, which allows her to further her mission in disrupting the inequities within education. She has presented on growth mindset, student engagement, and social emotional learning through the use of technology for several years at large educational conferences. Her personal philosophy of education is that children want to learn and grow, provided they are given a stimulating environment along with a supportive teacher. Her two positive affirmations that she establishes in her daily classroom is "Yes I Can" and "Be Kind".
